Social Studies for the week of 4/13-4/17
For Monday: Read "The Sinking of the Lusitania" (all links are below), answer questions #1-6, and email them to me using the email link below. There is also a Duckster website on the Lusitania if you're interested in reading more on the topic.

For Wednesday: Watch the short video on WWI posters. Then, open the "War Bonds" link and read the top of the "War Bond" poster. Either print it out OR use another piece of paper and design and color your own. Email me a picture of it when complete.

2. When you are done, send me an email with your answers to the 9 questions on the Alliance page. Use the email link on this page and just type right into the email. DUE DATE: By Thursday, April 2

You will need to gather 7 friends together on google meet or some other chat (zoom, etc). Some of you may be able to gather 7 family members at home.
1. Read Trouble in the Cafeteria, a Readers Theater
2. Discuss how it relates to what you've read about WWI so far.
CASTLE CHALLENGE!
Since we won't be doing castle building with our tables, I challenge you to create one on your own. You could draw it, build it, bake it, paint it, be creative. It should include the 16 things we labeled before we left. Email pictures of your creative castles and I will post them on this page!
